Sally Grapin

Biography

Broadly, Dr. Grapin's research centers on the intersection of social justice and school psychology. Specifically, her research comprises two primary strands: 1) exploring the impact of racial bullying (in both online and offline contexts) on youth achievement and mental health outcomes; and 2) exploring the ways in which pre-service school professionals develop dispositions toward social justice advocacy. Dr. Grapin has received research funding from the American Psychological Foundation and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal School Psychology International and co-editor of the book "School Psychology: Professional Issues and Practices," which explores the professional roles and functions of school psychologists through a social justice lens.
