Biography

As an educator and administrator with over 15 years of experience in New Jersey public schools, I am dedicated to bridging the gap between foundational leadership theory and the daily realities of school administration.

Currently serving as a Elementary School Principal in the Morris School District, I focus on cultivating school environments that prioritize both academic excellence and a strong, inclusive community culture.

My leadership journey has spanned diverse educational landscapes, including roles as a Principal, Vice Principal, and Chief Innovation Officer across districts such as Palisades Park, Newark, and Paterson.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in:

• School Turnaround & Innovation: Implementing the Connected Action Roadmap (CAR) and redesigning master schedules to support data-driven interventions.
• Strategic Growth: Managing multi-million dollar budgets and securing high-impact grants (such as the NJDOE High-Impact Tutoring Grant) to enhance student services.
• Collaborative Leadership: Establishing university partnerships to provide on-site coaching for educators and fostering Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) that drive instructional fidelity.

I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University, along with an MBA from Centenary University. I am also currently working toward my doctorate (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership and Special Education.

Returning to Montclair as an Adjunct Professor allows me to give back to the institution that shaped my career. In my courses, I draw directly from my active experience in the field to help aspiring leaders develop the practical skills, emotional intelligence, and strategic mindset necessary to lead the schools of tomorrow.
