Biography

Nicole Koppel is the MBA Director and a professor in the Department of Information Management & Business Analytics. In her role as MBA Director, Dr. Koppel oversees all MBA programs including the Online MBA, Weeknight Hybrid, and Early-Career Programs including the Accelerated 1-year, 1.5-to-2-year, and the 4+1 programs. In addition, Dr. Koppel teaches courses in operations management, statistics, and management information systems. In addition, she facilitates the Business Consulting Course, International Trip Experiences and Co-op Internships and Projects. 

Her research focus is in the broad area of Experiential Opportunities and Assessment in Technology and Quantitative Studies. In addition, she has published in the area of Operations Management. Her research can be found in many peer-reviewed journals and her research has been presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences.

Dr. Koppel received a PhD degree in Operations Management and an MBA from Rutgers University, an MS degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University, and a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
