Biography
A bit about me: I completed my PhD in Teacher Education and Teacher Development at MSU in 2025. My committee consisted of Dr. Emily Klein (Advisor) along with Dr. Monica Taylor and Dr. Jeremy Price. My Dissertation work was in the area of queer pedagogy, which remains an important focus for me. For 5 years, I worked as a co-teacher/graduate assistant with Dr. Klein in the introductory course for the TETD doctoral program (TETD 801). Outside of MSU, I have been a long time educator: 26-27 marks year 30 for me in the field. From 1997-2011, I was a high school English teacher, and then I moved into administration in 2011. Presently, I am the Assistant Principal of Academics at Robert R. Lazar Middle School in Montville, NJ.
