Kyungmyung Jang

Biography

Dr. Kyungmyung Jang is a dedicated scholar and educator in the information systems field. His primary research interests involve exploring the impact of new technology adoptions (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing) on information security, the effects of new information technology on firm performance, as well as investigating the potential negative consequences of technology usage on individuals. He has contributed to the academic field through his publications in the domain of blockchain and information security. His research approach is characterized by the utilization of sophisticated methodologies, including machine learning and econometrics, to rigorously test hypotheses through theoretical foundations and derive revelatory insights from research findings.
He has extensive experience teaching programming languages and artificial intelligence-based decision-making systems.
