Biography

Jessica Wohlstetter, adjunct, received the EdD in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Her dissertation focused on analyzing students’ ability to acquire American Sign Language based on their learning style preferences (visual, auditory, reading / writing, and kinesthetic). She teaches ASL 101 and 102 and assisted in the development of the asynchronous American Sign Language courses for the Linguistics Department at MSU as well as Hudson County Community College. Dr. Wohlstetter is the recipient of the Montclair State Adjunct Award in 2018 and a co – editor of The Rubrics Circle: Unlocking the Never Ending Puzzle of Assessment (2010).
