Biography
I received my Ph.D degree from the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology in University of Rochester Medical Center. My research interest lies in both statistical methodology development, data-driven statistical modeling, machine learning and biostatistics application. The general goal of my research is to develop flexible statistical methods for complex data and to gain better inference. In particular I am interested in pursuing research in empirical likelihood-based method, partially linear models, survival analysis, nonparametric and semi-parametric regression, and machine learning methods in biomedical field. My collaborative research focuses on environmental statistics, public health and biomedical studies.
