Gloria Walker

Biography

I have served as an adjunct professor in the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University since 2005, teaching Fundamentals of Speech. My teaching focuses on helping students build confidence, develop effective public speaking skills, and apply communication strategies across academic, professional, and personal contexts. As an alum of Montclair State University, where I earned my master’s degree in Organizational Communication in 2005, I am deeply committed to the department’s mission and to supporting student success. My interests center on practical communication skill development, audience engagement, and fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments.
