Chris Petrillo

Biography

Chris Petrillo is an Instructional Designer within the Instructional Technology and Design Services (ITDS) group and MSU alumni (BS Biological Science). Responsibilities include collaboration with faculty to design pedagogically-sound courses for online programs, development of workshops for increasing engagement in courses using interactive and collaborative platforms, and researching innovative technologies and pedagogical applications to increase student engagement. Chris' interest areas include multimedia projects (audio/video), student engagement methodologies, extended reality (XR, VR/AR), game-based learning, and gamification.
