Biography

Brian Krist is an adjunct in the History Department and a lawyer admitted in New York State and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. His research interests include 19th Century America, and the legal and political history of the United States. He has published articles in the New York Real Property Law Journal, the Richmond County Bar Association Journal, the Washington College International Studies Review, and Cuban Affairs Journal.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies and a Master of Arts in History from Washington College, and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School. He is also a 2015 graduate of the New York City Leadership Institute and an elected Fellow of the New York State Academy for Public Administration.
