Biography
Ardith Collins teaches and coordinates General Music and Orchestra grades PreK - 8 at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in Manhattan, is adjunct professor of String Methods at Montclair State University and serves as a national Teacher Educator for Orff Schulwerk Levels Courses. Ardith completed Orff training at Villanova/University of the Arts, Kodály Levels at Westminster Choir College, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics at Anderson University. Ardith was an American Center for Elemental Music and Movement (ACEMM) Beacon Scholarship recipient, which she utilized to attend JaSeSoi ry World Village in Finland. Ardith is Past President of the Northern New Jersey Orff Schulwerk Association (NNJOSA), serves on the American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOSA) Curriculum Board. Ardith is completing her Ed.D in Educational Leadership and is an avid folk dance, rounds singing, and ping pong enthusiast.
