Alexa Spear

Biography

Alexa Rose Spear is the Communications Coordinator for the Graduate Center at Montclair State University. In this role, she leads strategic communication efforts that support graduate student success and strengthen engagement across the university. 

Alexa oversees the planning, development, and execution of digital communications, including website content, email campaigns, newsletters, social media posts, and branded materials. She works closely with academic and administrative partners across Montclair to translate complex policies, processes, and academic milestones into clear, accessible, and student-centered messaging. 

Through a strategy-driven and design-informed approach, she enhances visibility for Graduate Center initiatives, promotes critical resources, and helps foster a strong sense of community and belonging among Montclair’s graduate students.
