Mission
To advance health equity and social justice, through our commitment to an upstream focus and cultural responsiveness in the development of public health professionals, in our community engagement, and in our scholarship. We work toward advancing the collective strength of populations, to foster healthy settings and healthy people.

CEPH Accreditation
Our MPH and BSPH programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools and programs of public health. Our programs received reaccreditation in November 2020 for a period of seven years, the maximum length of time the CEPH will reaccredit programs of public health. We also submitted an interim report and hosted a site visit in Fall 2021, and our department also submits reports to CEPH annually.
