Homecoming & Family Weekend
This year, we are bringing Family Weekend to Homecoming, one of Montclair State University's biggest traditions, bringing together students, families, alumni and the entire Red Hawk community. Explore the page below to see how to register, which events you can attend to get the most out of your experience!
Current Students
Homecoming is your chance to celebrate Red Hawk Pride with friends, enjoy live entertainment, cheer on our athletic teams and take part in campus traditions.
Current students do not need to register for Homecoming and may attend events throughout the weekend free of charge unless otherwise noted.
- Some events are designed specifically for alumni.
- Family Weekend events are open to all students. Family members and guests must register through the family portal. Be sure to send them the registration information below.
Faculty & Staff
Faculty and staff do not need to register for Homecoming & Family Weekend and are welcome to attend events throughout the weekend free of charge.
Attending an Athletics Game? Admission is free with a valid Montclair ID.

Register for Family Weekend
Family Weekend registration is required for all parents, family members, supporters, friends and other guests of current Montclair students. Current Montclair students are FREE and do not need to register for Homecoming & Family Weekend.
Please Note: Advance registration will close on Wednesday, September 30.
- Friday, October 2: $5.00 each
- Saturday, October 3: $20.00 each
- Sunday, October 4: FREE!
