Facilities Maintenance and Engineering (FM&E) coordinates and performs building maintenance and repairs across Building Automation Systems, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Lock Services, Masonry, Plumbing, and General Repairs, with requests managed through Nuvolo.

All Service Requests are managed through the Facilities Customer Service Center and- as of August 4, 2025- the Nuvolo Integrated Workplace Management System.

The Facilities Customer Service Center (FCSC) is our customers’ primary point of contact for all service requests and general inquiries. It is staffed Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Our Call Center picks up all calls after hours, including weekends.

A Manager On-Call List is maintained to ensure service delivery to the campus after hours and on weekends.
Our Shops
Carpentry Services
Handles maintenance and repair of roof systems, doors, hardware, windows, and glass, as well as the assembly and mounting of office / dorm furniture.
Electrical Services
Manages electrical distribution, power systems, lighting, wiring, receptacles, life safety equipment, transformers, and routine elevator maintenance and repair.
HVAC Services
Maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and climate controls, including air handlers, heat pumps, piping, and cooling towers.
Lock Services
Ensures physical campus security through lock repair, key cutting, rekeying, and lockout assistance. Electronic security is managed via the Access Control unit.
Masonry Services
Responsible for interior and exterior surface preparation, painting, furniture refinishing, floor and ceiling tile maintenance, and brick, plaster, or stone repair.
Plumbing Services
Maintains and repairs campus water, gas, steam, and sewer systems, including fixtures, drain lines, pumps, valves, and hot water heaters.
