Dreamscape Lab
Dreamscape Learn is an immersive educational initiative that combines virtual reality, cinematic storytelling, and experiential learning to give you new ways to engage with course material. At the center of this initiative is the Making Innovations for X (MIX) Lab, a state-of-the-art facility featuring an immersive classroom and virtual reality pod.
Dreamscape Learn brings virtual reality into the classroom, letting you step inside course content instead of just reading about it. Rather than replacing traditional instruction, it's designed to work alongside it, giving you an additional way to engage with complex topics through cinematic, story-driven experiences. This approach is part of a broader trend in higher education toward experiential learning, where you learn by doing rather than by observing alone.
Built in partnership with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), the MIX Lab has been in development and testing throughout the academic year, with a full launch planned for Fall 2026.
